18th Annual ArtWalk @ Liberty Station | August 5 and 6
In 2023, ArtWalk @ Liberty Station celebrates 18 years of bringing fine art to to San Diego at beautiful Liberty Station. The show celebrates the creativity from both sides of the border, with more than 175 artists coming from across several states and Mexico to show and sell their artwork, including paintings, photography, glass and ceramic, jewelry and sculpture. The Arts District at Liberty Station has blossomed into San Diego's premier venue for the arts, museums, dining and entertainment. The fabulous outdoor setting features a verdant lawn, gorgeous water features, and an abundance of free parking.

Lemon Festival | August 12
Start planning your finest lemon-themed outfits and get ready for this year’s 26th Annual Lemon Festival!
Taking place on Saturday, August 12th from 11:00am to 6:00pm, Downtown Chula Vista's Third Avenue will transform into a lemon-filled oasis that pays tribute the city's rich agricultural history. Chula Vista was once known as "Lemon Capitol of the World." Although the lemon groves are no more, many of the homes in the area have their own lemon trees. Join us for this annual celebration of citrus.
This year's Lemon Festival includes two stages of live music, zesty photo opps, a lemon cook-off competition, a kids zone for the Lil' Lemons, delicious food options, arts and crafts vendors and a wine and beer garden.

San Diego's finest annual cycling event across the Coronado Bridge and around the bay!
Ride the bridge, Bike the Bay for the 16th annual ride on Sunday, August 27, 2023! Cruise around San Diego Bay and enjoy your only opportunity to ride across the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge. This non-competitive community bike ride is for riders of all abilities and will take you on a scenic, and primarily flat ride, around the San Diego Bay via the Bayshore Bikeway. Along the way, riders will travel through the surrounding cities of Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista, and National City before finishing back at the start/finish line at Embarcadero Marina Park in downtown San Diego.
