Welcome to Solana Beach
The halcyon city with a reputation as the best of the best in beaches, properties, and allure.
Fractals of sunlight pour over the iridescent shores of Solana Beach, considered by many to be a personal favorite in terms of North County cities. Highly exclusive, this mesmerizing community houses some of the most beautiful beaches and stirring views from homes perched atop gorgeous bluffs.
Incorporated relatively late in the game (1956), Solana Beach has been a beacon for the luxury-minded since its inception, when the man-made beach entrance at Fletcher’s Cove was created in the early 20th century. Now, the city of roughly 13,000 has blossomed into a much-loved city for artists, creative types, and those seeking a daily paradise style of living.
Solana Beach is home to several exclusive neighborhoods, the most notable of which is the Cedros Design District Homes. Named after the city’s premier antique shopping district, this neighborhood harbors highly prized coastal properties and unique designs. Other popular styles include beachfront condos, ultra-modern coastal farmhouses, mid-century beauties, and Cape Cod beach houses.

A mild climate and plentiful sunshine allow for year-round outdoor recreation, which often includes watching the sunset at Fletcher Cove or taking a stroll through the charming village area.
Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping
Walk under the pristine arch demarcating the Cedros Avenue Design District and you’ll find yourself in an enchanting world of more than 85 retailers, restaurants, and spas all tucked on a scenic, and arbored stretch of 2 ½ blocks. With everything from high-end fashion boutiques to specialty gift shops, wellness stores, and lifestyle services this commercial district easily lives up to its notoriety as one of the hippest shopping areas in San Diego.
Cedros Avenue also contains an array of spectacular breweries and restaurants, though the delicious dining in Solana Beach isn’t limited to this singular street. Chiefs is one of the area’s most energetic eateries, thanks in part to its hearty menu of casual comfort fare and the multiple TVs set up for sports enthusiasts to take in a game over wings and burgers.
Pizza Port appeals to beer aficionados and tavern-goers, who have helped the brewpub reach great success within the San Diego craft beer community. Mixing up farm-to-table Southwestern fare and heavenly tequila flights, Alce 101 is a distinctive establishment that prides itself on using only the freshest seasonal ingredients.
Things to Do
The Cedros Design District is more than just its remarkable dining and shopping — it’s a well-known multi-purpose venue for many of the area’s top events, including the weekly Farmers Market and the annual Fiesta del Sol. At the latter, two days of nonstop entertainment, music, and art fill up the event roster, while visitors can dig into the best of food trucks and local vendors.
The famous Belly Up Tavern is also located in the Cedros Design District. Throughout the years, this phenomenal music venue has hosted acts including Maroon5, BB King, and Ludacris. Visitors come from all over the nation to spend an afternoon at Fletcher Cove, the city’s award-winning beach park with a vibrant history.
